about

The Kinetic was the third single by Vermont, recorded again at the superlative Sonic Bunker over a weekend in October 2001. Two of the three songs were brand-new; a sign of how the songwriting talent of Colin and Sabine was growing. The other ("Starting Again" was an old favourite that was first played at their debut gig back in January 2000. A new keyboard player (Adey Lobb) and a smattering of new instruments provided the another development of their sound. None of these songs were re-recorded for their debut album Ins Kino (which was in the planning stages at the time), but the lead track was remixed. Again released as a very limited edition of 100 CDRs and 300 7" records.
