about

After Vermont had released three singles the time had come to try a larger canvas. A friend's redundancy payment was unbelievably volunteered and graciously accepted, the Sonic Bunker was secured for a week-and-a-bit, and an album full of songs was assembled. By this time musical differences had led to the parting of bassist Liam Kelly from the band, so low-end duties were fulfilled by guitarist Simon with a bass borrowed from Emmy-Kate Montrose (formerly of the mighty Kenickie). Its thirteen tracks consisted of a remix of one previous track and re-recordings of four others, bundled with eight new arrivals. Released as a limited edition of 200 12" records and 500 CDs (proper ones this time).
